New Songs on a Saturday Morning (441-450)

As part of my ongoing effort to improve the range of my cultural consumption, I'm casting out for new things to listen to. Part one and an explanation of this musical escapade can be found here. You'll need to search for the rest yourselves.

441. The East Journey - 'Songs of the Arnhem Land' - Such a great, cheery way to start the weekend after stumbling out of bed, still bleary eyed from a dreadful night with Dear Boy. Great sound.
442. The East Journey - 'Ngarrpiya' - Lovely. Just lovely.
443. Tim Hart - 'Architects' - Great tune, loving the acoustic finger picking. (Not to be confused with Tim Hart of Steeleye Span and an electric folk founder who died in 2009).
444. Tim Hart - 'A Number of Us'.
445. Keith Urban - 'For You' - I am not a country fan. But I think half of Australia finally saw some of what Nicole Kidman does after watching him on The Voice. His sweet heart, when he can't stop himself from moving to the music, his gentle advice, the tone of his voice, and... okay, the glorious guitar playing hands and that shoulder thing when he's playing and even when he pretends to play. It's watchable. Infinitely watchable.
446. Keith Urban - 'Long, Hot Summer' - I'm still finding it odd to hear the strong American singing accent after hearing his QLD-boy speaking voice.
447. Karise Eden - 'You Won't Let Me' - The winner of The Voice for a reason. Janis Joplin comparisons inevitable.
448. The Bamboos feat. Daniel Merriweather - 'I Never'.
449. Impossible Odds feat. Georgia Corowa- 'Everything' - Australian hip-hop still cracks me up, but this is great. Corowa's especially divine.
450. Washington - 'How to Tame Lions' - Love this lady. So... so... hmmm... just so, I guess.
